Ordering & Shipping Information

THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW BEFORE ORDERING

First and foremost, you must create an account with us to use the shopping cart system. The benefits to you are that you only have to enter your contact and shipping information once, you have access to a listing of all your current and past orders, and you may select whether to subscribe to our e-mail communications/newsletter. The benefits to us are we have all your contact information in one place, it's secure, and we can easily communicate via e-mail as your order progresses to completion. Please remember to sign in to your account before attempting to place an order.

Our products are intended to be used by adult hobbyists and are not toys and should not be used or handled by children under 14 years of age without adult supervision. Some products sold by Masterbilt Models are small and may become choking hazards in the hands of small children.

SHIPPING & HANDLING

Our shipping rates are calculated by current US Postal Service rates as determined by destination country, zip/postal code, type of service selected, and weight of shipment. You can preview estimated shipping charges from within your shopping cart at any time. We offer both USPS Priority and regular USPS First Class shipping. Except during peak shipping times (mostly Christmas and holidays), First Class is just as fast as Priority Mail. We recommend First Class shipping unless you’re really in a hurry or live in remote or sparsely populated areas of the United States. Please note: all domestic U.S.A. shipments weighing one pound or more may only be shipped using USPS Priority Mail

SALES TAX

We must collect Texas State Sales Tax for any shipment to a Texas address. Our shopping cart automatically calculates and adds 8.25% sales tax to your order if this applies to your shipment. 

PAYMENT

We accept the following forms of payment:

  • Cashier's Checks, Certified Checks and Money Orders - Your order is shipped promptly!
  • Personal Checks - We accept them! Checks over $50 may cause your order to be held subject to the check clearing rules of our bank. 
  • PayPal
  • Credit Cards - Our secure shopping card accepts major credits through Square; no account information is ever shared with us nor do we store your card information locally.
  • We do not ship COD.
  • Foreign & Canadian orders must be paid for in US Funds. Visa, MasterCard, and other major credit/debit cards work very well.

RETURNS

Returns will be accepted within 30 days of shipment with correct RMA documentation. The item(s) must be returned. If the return is our fault (i.e. shipping damage or error), we will bear the cost of refund or replacement (your choice). If the return is your fault (i.e. you ordered the wrong item), your money will be refunded less shipping charges. If you wish to exchange items, you will be charged for the shipping fee on those items plus or minus the difference in cost of the items exchanged. Use our Returns page to communicate your request and receive your RMA number and return documentation.
